I completed my BSN on June 2, 2026 with a 4.0.
I received my ASN in 2012, and the plan was simple: earn my BSN by 2014.
Life had other plans.
After graduating with my ASN in 2012, I became:
An RN.
A wife.
A homeowner.
A mother.
A ghostwriter.
An editor.
An author.
The owner of two publishing companies.
A personal accountant.
A Georgia resident.
A paid content creator.
A paid baker.
A French translator.
A Spanish translator.
A travel consultant.
An entertainment manager.
A world traveler.
…and so much more.
After graduating in 2012, I BECAME.
God, thank You for showing me that life was never meant to be lived inside a box.
Thank You for my life being proof that life isn’t simply a list of things to check off.
Thank You for giving me a life that was bigger than school and bigger than having a “job”.
Thank You for allowing my gifts to make room for me.
Thank You for allowing me to pivot.
Thank You for allowing everything to come full circle.
And thank You for not forgetting the prayer I prayed as an 18-year-old who was homeless, sleeping in a repossessed car —to one day earn my BSN.
You didn’t forget.
Thank You for giving me a life beyond anything I could have imagined.
Thank You for the unorthodox journey.
Thank You for the gifts and talents that kept me awake at night because they refused to let me settle.
Thank you for allowing my gifts to make room for me.
Thank you for making me “crazy” enough to believe it could all work out.
Thank You for not looking at my age and deciding You were finished stretching me.
I’ve learned that every new assignment is proof that You still have me on Your mind.
Thank You for never forgetting about me.
Thank you for STILL not being done with me.
